Are you constantly worrying about what other people think or trying to prove you’re good enough?

Are you exhausted from managing anxiety or pushing down feelings?

Do you feel overwhelmed by life even when nothing specific is wrong?

Do you overreact to things and later wonder why you got so triggered?

Are you stuck in the same relationship patterns or sabotaging good things when they come?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, you’re carrying unhealed wounds.

Most people are walking around with pain from the past that’s still running their present.

You don’t have to stay stuck. Inner healing work can change everything.

Why Face Your Wounds

Unhealed wounds don’t go away—they control you from the shadows.

The patterns you can’t break, the times you overreact, the same fights that keep happening—these are unhealed parts of you trying to get your attention.

Inner healing brings these hidden drivers into the open so you can choose how to respond instead of being controlled by old hurts.

When you heal:

you stop passing pain to the next generation.

You break cycles instead of continuing them.

Your relationships transform when you stop expecting others to fix what’s broken inside.

You show up whole—looking for connection, not someone to complete you.

You reclaim energy that’s been stuck in survival mode. Carrying unprocessed pain takes enormous energy to manage. Healing gives that energy back for creativity, joy, and pursuing what matters.

You discover who you really are underneath the protective walls you built. Many people spend years operating from a defended version of themselves, never knowing their real personality or what they actually want.

Your body often gets healthier too. Chronic stress and unprocessed trauma create ongoing inflammation and dysregulation. Research shows that unhealed emotional wounds can weaken your immune system and contribute to autoimmune diseases and even cancer. Healing the emotional sefl can lead to surprising physical improvements as your immune system comes back into balance.

Most importantly, life becomes something you shape instead of something that just happens to you. Inner healing moves you from victim to author—able to make real choices about who you want to become.

How It Changes Everything

The emotional benefits run deep. You stop overreacting. You can feel both joy and pain without falling apart. Hard feelings become less scary. You can let people really see you without shame. You stop being so hard on yourself.

In relationships, you stop being drawn to the same type of person over and over. Arguments become productive instead of destructive. You can actually let love in. Your presence creates safety for others.

At work, your creativity improves because you have actual brain space for new ideas. You stop feeling like a fraud. Career choices line up with what you value instead of what your wounds tell you to do.

Life’s baseline feeling shifts from “something is wrong with me” to a basic sense of okayness. You become your own steady place. The future feels open instead of already decided.

Inner healing shifts what you’re unconsciously building your life around. Instead of building around avoiding pain or proving you’re good enough, you start building around growth, connection, and being real.

This is why the work matters. The pain you’re carrying doesn’t have to run your life. You can heal. And when you do, your life changes with you.

Why Stress Matters: the Affects and What You Can Do About It

Let’s talk about stress – something we all know too well in today’s world. While our ancestors needed stress to survive (think running from predators!), our modern stress looks quite different. Instead of brief moments of danger, we’re swimming in a sea of daily pressures that affect our entire being – body, mind, heart, and spirit.

What Really Causes Stress Today?

Our modern world throws all sorts of challenges our way:

Life’s Daily Grind: Work never seems to end, especially with emails and messages popping up at all hours. Bills keep coming, deadlines loom, and sometimes it feels like there aren’t enough hours in the day to catch our breath.

Heart Matters: Our relationships – whether with family, friends, or partners – can bring both joy and tension. Sometimes the people we love most can also be sources of worry and stress, especially when we’re trying to meet everyone’s needs.

Information Tsunami: Our phones, TVs, and computers bombard us with endless news and social media updates. It’s like trying to drink from a fire hose – overwhelming and exhausting for our spirits.

How Stress Shows Up Right Away

When stress hits, it affects us on every level:

In Your Body: Your heart races, muscles tighten, and breathing gets shallow. You might notice your stomach acting up or headaches becoming more frequent. These aren’t just physical symptoms – they’re your body trying to tell you something’s out of balance.

In Your Mind: Ever notice how hard it is to focus when you’re stressed? Your thoughts might race or scatter, making even simple decisions feel overwhelming. It’s like your inner compass gets thrown off course.

In Your Heart: Stress can make you feel irritable, anxious, or just emotionally raw. Small things that normally wouldn’t bother you suddenly feel huge. Your emotional skin gets thinner, making you more sensitive to everything around you.

In Your Spirit: That deep sense of peace and connection you normally feel might slip away. You might feel disconnected from your purpose or lose touch with what matters most to you.

What Happens When Stress Sticks Around

Long-term stress doesn’t just wear you down – it transforms your whole being:

Your Physical Temple: Your body indicates the affects.. Your immune system weakens, your heart works harder, and your digestion gets disrupted. It’s like your body is running a marathon without ever getting to rest. Over time, this ongoing strain can lead to chronic pain and illness – from persistent backaches and migraines to more serious conditions like fibromyalgia or autoimmune disorders. Think of it like a rubber band that’s been stretched too long – eventually, it loses its ability to bounce back. Your muscles may stay tense and painful, your joints might become inflamed, and your nervous system can become hypersensitive, creating a cycle where pain and stress feed each other. This isn’t just “in your head” – it’s your body’s very real response to being in constant survival mode, where every system is working overtime without proper rest and recovery.

Your Inner World: Your mind and emotions can get stuck in survival mode. You find yourself overthinking and overwhelmed. Anxiety might become your constant companion, or depression might creep in like a heavy fog. Your natural joy and creativity can feel blocked or distant.

Your Life Force: Chronic stress drains your vital energy. You might feel spiritually depleted, disconnected from your inner wisdom, and out of touch with your natural rhythms and intuition.

Why Finding Balance Matters

Bringing your whole being back into harmony is crucial because:

You’re a Whole Being: Everything’s connected – your physical health, emotional well-being, mental clarity, and spiritual peace all dance together. When one part suffers, the whole system feels it.

Your Life Energy: Managing stress well helps keep your vital energy flowing freely, supporting not just survival but true thriving and joy in life.

Your Relationships: When you’re in balance, you can show up more fully for others and maintain deeper, more meaningful connections.

Natural Ways to Restore Balance

Here’s how to nurture every aspect of your being:

Move Your Body: Exercise isn’t just about staying fit – it’s about releasing stuck energy and emotions. Whether it’s gentle yoga, a nature walk, or dancing in your living room, movement helps restore your natural flow.

Quiet Your Mind: Make friends with silence through meditation, deep breathing, or simply sitting quietly in nature. These practices help calm the mental storm and reconnect you with your inner wisdom.

Nourish Your Spirit: Feed your soul regularly through whatever brings you peace – prayer, meditation, art, music, or time in nature. These aren’t luxuries; they’re essential medicine for your whole being.

Connect Deeply: Share your journey with others who understand. Whether it’s friends, family, or a support group, authentic connection heals and strengthens your heart.

Live Rhythmically: Honor your body’s natural cycles. Get enough rest, eat nourishing food, and take breaks to recharge. Listen to your body’s wisdom – it knows what it needs.

Moving Forward with Grace

While we can’t eliminate stress completely, we can learn to dance with it more gracefully. The key is remembering that you’re not just a body to be fixed or a mind to be calmed – you’re a whole, integrated being deserving of care on every level.

Start small. Choose one area where you feel most out of balance and take gentle steps to restore harmony there. As you heal one aspect, the others will naturally begin to shift too. Remember, this journey isn’t about fighting stress – it’s about flowing with life’s challenges while staying connected to your deepest, truest self.

We know that stress can contribute to physical health problems. So, imagine the relief you’ll feel when you use a method that’s scientifically proven to reduce stress and alleviate pain!

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) have been shown in multiple studies to significantly reduce pain by addressing the emotional stress linked to physical discomfort. EFT works by rewiring neural pathways, promoting relaxation and emotional release.

Clinical trials and countless personal stories highlight EFT’s effectiveness in managing conditions like fibromyalgia and arthritis. In one study, participants who had endured chronic pain for an average of 14 years experienced total recovery and remained pain-free even after two years!

EFT is quick to learn, non-invasive, and self-administered. It empowers you to take control of your pain and enhances your overall well-being and quality of life.

What if you didn’t have to suffer anymore?

The stunning results showed that physical health issues can be healed by addressing mental/emotional issues.

Recently I conducted a Healing Experiment with 5 brave volunteers to address Physical Health issues. The results exceeded my expectations!!

Results

All reported significant benefits from resolving mental emotional issues: feeling freer and happier, sleeping deeper and longer, more self motivated, being kinder, feeling calmer and stronger, gaining self understanding, more confidence, more compassionate to self, feeling more positive and an improved sense of wellbeing.

All of them said it had been worth it just for those benefits. However, the physical improvements that accompanied these changes were more than I had dared hope. Note that for some of the participants these were conditions that they had suffered for decades!!!

(Note that there was some correlation between how often they listened and the results achieved.)

One participant said she had forgotten what it is like to wake up free of the chronic pain she’d experienced for at least 10 years. Pain levels had been between 5 and 9 out of 10, now down to 1.5 out of 10!

“Feel blessed to have been offered this course”

Another had such serious jaw clenching that XRays showed her teeth and jaw alignment had been affected. Clenching almost totally stopped, after decades!!

“I am still seeing the benefits months later”

Another used to have serious 24 hour gastric attacks every week for decades, she had only had 2 in 8 weeks, one early in the program and the other much less severe than before.

“Really amazing progress”

One program participant is more committed to healing and has made healthy lifestyle changes. She says the program gave her the confidence to perform well at a job interview and get the job!

“Absolutely worthwhile”

Another found it a gentle, positive way to acknowledge and understand her issue, and to shift behaviour. Other factors possibly affected her results.

“Really worthwhile. I would do it again”

All said that they would highly recommend it.

What does this show?

That physical health issues can be healed by addressing mental/emotional issues

That listening to recordings of carefully selected Ask and Receive statements can resolve mental, emotional and physical issues.

That we are whole beings: that our heart, mind, body and spirit are indeed interwoven.

That if people are willing to listen to recordings then deep change and healing can take place.

What did they do?

Participants each had a physical health issue they wanted to heal.

We identified the mental/emotional issues that most resonated for participants (in part guided by a variety of books, most especially The Healing Questions Guide by Wendi Jensen).

I then created an individually tailored 10 to 15 minute Ask and Receive Healing recording for each person.

Participants listened to their recording 1 to 8 times daily for a month (often just doing ordinary chores while it played in the background).

I caught up with each of them for 15 minutes weekly.

Conclusions

From time to time I have had clients experience physical healing concurrently with the psychological work we are doing. Occasionally we have worked deliberately and successfully to achieve physical healing.

Never before have I come across such a simple and effective way of bringing about such deep and wide ranging healing.

This method is also very cost effective as it only requires the client’s commitment and 2 hours of consultation with me. At the very least participants are likely to have greater self understanding and feel better.

So if you are interested in trying a wholistic approach to healing OR if you are desperate because nothing else has worked, why not book in for a free 20 minute chat to see if this approach might suit you?

If you are curious to know how this experiment could possibly have worked so well, I encourage you to view the video below. This is exactly what Gabor is talking about!

Do you Feel isolated? Find it hard to make decisions? Have difficult expressing yourself? Avoid social situations? Lack confidence? Anxiety? Addictions?

It’s likely you have the sneaky, silent saboteur called “shame” undermining your life.

What is shame? While guilt says “I feel bad about something I have done,” shame says “I AM bad, unworthy, inadequate.”

Shame comes in various guises: embarrassed, ashamed, humiliated, and even mortified (latin word for death!!). No wonder it inhibits our ability to live life fully!

Shame hides behind anxiety. The fear of saying what we think, for example, is actually fear of being criticised and feeling humiliated, yet again.

Shame originates in the past, when we or others have been harsh and critical towards us. Often it originates in childhood. Remember the “you should be ashamed of yourself?” And so we learn to be hard on ourselves. We treat ourselves the way we were treated, The shame becomes like a ball and chain we drag along behind us.

As adults it is often associated with sexuality or money, but its landscape is unlimited!

Freeing yourself of past embarrassments that are running your life is one of the most liberating things you can do. You can change this.

First, as always, be aware. Acknowledge what you don’t want others to know (always a good test of shame!). Notice the situations in which you feel inhibited. Second, meet with and get to know your sad, wounded, hurt part. Go gently. Ask and acknowledge its fears.

Thirdly, ask it what It needs. Usually it wants nothing more than love and compassion, support and understanding, kindness. Be there for it, be the loving parent or best friend it needs.

Like going to the gym, with practice transformation will follow. You will come alive. You will have more energy, confidence, have greater clarity, be more proactive, better relationships. You will be able to live life fully! Enjoy!

It can seem like a badge of honour to say “I am stressed.” Yet the evidence is out: it is not good for you!

Research suggests that 85% of all illness is at least partially caused by stress and anxiety. How could this be? Let’s consider what is happening when we are stressed.

Whatever the cause, when the amygdala senses danger it reacts automatically. This is an old part of the brain that does not realise we are not threatened by sabre toothed tigers. It prepares the body to fight or flee! This preparation requires increased stress hormones, blood sugar levels, blood flow to the muscles, rate of breathing and blood pressure!

Blood flow to the reproductory, circulatory, immune, digestive systems and the brain is reduced.

In the short term, this pattern of acceleration and deprivation is not significant. But with repeated daily stress and anxiety, this leads to heart disease, anxiety, cancer, diabetes, gastro-intestinal disorders, infections, strokes, autoimmune diseases, sexual problems, memory and learning.

What can you do to reduce stress and anxiety? Daily self care and prioritising your health is important.

Addressing the underlying causes, eliminating unnecessary stressors, sound sleep, healthy eating, exercising, meditating, journaling, time out doing things you enjoy, relaxation the can transform your health and your life. When would NOW be a good time to start?
